We are committed to providing education which enriches and extends the curriculum beyond the National Curriculum ( www.nc.uk.net). We believe the arts, environmental education and sport are vital to provide breadth and balance in the curriculum.
Arts projects include:
- 11th session music, dance and drama workshops
- performance opportunities locally and in the county's music ensembles
- the Personal and Social Development Initiative (PSDI) team which uses workshops, training and consultancy to help schools develop personal, social and health education (PSHE), citizenship and drug education strategies.
Environmental education includes:
- residential and day environmental centres
- Trailblazer environmental record of achievement.
