| British Pathe | Here you can preview items from the entire 3,500 hour British Pathe Film archive which covers news, sport, social history and entertainment from 1896 to 1970. Nottinghamshire teachers can download film clips for free from their school based machines as part of their East Midland Broadband Consortium service. To download add items to your shopping basket and then enter the discount code for your school – your school network manager will know this. All clips will then be sent to your email address for free. |

| Sparacus Internet Encyclopaedia: British History 1700 - 1950 | Run by John Siskin, of Tress ell Publication fame for teachers, Spartacus is building an online encyclopaedia of British history, which so far contains around 2,000 entries. Each provides narrative, illustrations, primary sources and a bibliography. |
