Peer supporters
The Heads Count Advisory Group felt strongly that newly appointed head teachers would benefit from the support of a more experienced head teacher whose only agenda was to be available to the other as the need arises.
There are a number of other sources of one to one support for new head teachers and the different roles can be confusing.
Below is a table explaining the differences in the support available to new head teachers.
