The Nottinghamshire Children's Trust (previously Nottinghamshire's Children and Young People's Partnership) is committed to improving the lives of children and young people by ensuring that Nottinghamshire is a place where they can all achieve their full potential.
Our Children and Young People’s Plan describes how the members of the Nottinghamshire Children's Trust will work together to improve the lives of children and young people in Nottinghamshire.
Our Plan describes how we will plan our work around all five of the outcomes for young people set out in the Children Act (2004):
- Being healthy - physical and mental and emotional well-being
- Staying safe - protection from harm and neglect
- Enjoying and achieving - education, training and recreation
- Making a positive contribution - the contribution made by them to society
- Achieving economic well-being - social and economic well-being.
Our Children and Young People’s Plan is the foundation of our shared planning to continue improving how we work together. The publication of a Children and Young People Plan is a legal requirement for all Local Authorities together with their partners under the Children Act 2004.
The Year End Monitoring Report [PDF 550KB]
details the progress of the Children and Young People's Plan between April 2009 and March 2010.
