NSCB - Child Protection Policies,Procedures and Practice Guidance
The Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Board and the Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Board have jointly produced Child Protection Procedures to provide consistency for those workers who cross boundaries between the two authorities.
The Child Protection Procedures reflect the changes in ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children 2006' and were issued in Feb 2007.
Agencies who have the previous procedures entitled ‘Inter-agency Guidance on the Assessment of Children in Need’ and ‘ACPC Child Protection Procedures’ should replace Section 5 only. The remaining sections of the previous procedures remain the same and are under review.
