Good News...

Incredible Years makes incredible difference

A group of Rushcliffe parents that did a 12-week Incredible Years parenting course are still meeting up months after the programme ended to share tips. They have even started socialising together at local playgroups and the Children's Centre.

When asked about the differnece the programme had made to their parenting skills, the group said;

"I learnt new behaviour management techniques and now it's like having a completely different child!"
"the ideas I got from this course have improved sibling relationships in my house, they are much more thoughtful, helpful and sharing"
"the course helped me to improve partner communication to make sure we deal with certain behaviours in a consistent way"
"I can now stay calmer for longer if a situation arises"
"I am more incontrol and feel more confident"

When asked about the course itself, they said;

"you think your child is different and that you're alone, but that is not true"
"this is a good place to come and discuss your issues as it makes you feel better"
"it teaches you some great tools to deal with situations in a confident way, which helps you feel more in control"
"I think everyone should do it"
"this course has stopped me feeling overwhelmed"
