My family have adopted

Photo of mother and disabled childIf you are an adoptive parent, a grandparent or a brother or sister, Support After Adoption offers you various services once the adoption order has been made.

You can get help with welfare rights, education, health (including mental health), services for black families, youth service and services for disabled children.

There are two leaflets for people who adopted more or fewer than three years ago and whether they live in Nottinghamshire or outside. Contact Support After Adoption for copies.

Working closely with national adoption groups such as Adoption UK and BAAF, we also offer training courses, seminars and conferences for adopters as well as regular updates through mailings and a newsletter.
