The Minerals and Waste Development Framework must be monitored annually with reports submitted to Government at the end of each calendar year covering the previous financial year.  The main purpose of monitoring is to look at the overall planning context, assess the effectiveness of the County Council's policies and review progress in preparing the new planning documents.  The latest Annual Monitoring Report was published in December 2008 and covers the period between 1 April 2007 and 31 March 2008.  The next Annual Monitoring Report will appear here early January 2010.
