Rural life through the eyes of the village shopkeeper. Nottinghamshire County Council grant aided repair to the building in which this museum is held.

Opening times: April-October, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays 14.00-17.00. Other times by appointment.

Admission: Free, donations welcome.

Institution of British Telecommunications Engineers Museum

Housed in the old Telephone Exchange at Worksop, the museum has been set up to preserve and display telecommunications heritage, with an emphasis on the local area. It is designed to show all areas of the Telephone Network and has working equipment that visitors can try out for themselves.

Opening times: For parties of 6 (minimum) to 40 (maximum) by appointment.

Admission: Free.

No disabled WC. Limited free parking on site.

Ollerton Watermill and Teashop

The only working watermill in Nottinghamshire. The entrance to the teashop has views of the waterwheel and pleasant views over the river make this a delightful venue to relax in.

Opening times: Teashop: March to Mid-December - Wednesday to Sunday 10.30-16.45. Normal week - closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Bank Holiday week - open Monday, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Watermill: April-September, Sunday afternoons and Bank Holidays - 12.00-16.30. Group visits welcome at other times by arrangement.

Admission: Small charge for mill.

Priory church dating back to 1103 with 14th century Gatehouse. Nottinghamshire County Council regularly gives advice and has a close involvement here.

Opening times: Priory open Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday 9.00-12.00 and open daily for service. Open at other times by appointment. Gatehouse open by appointment only.
