Changes to the Definitive Map & Statement - Path Claims |
An application has been submitted to add 10 footpaths to the Definitive Map and Statement in West Bridgford. The paths being claimed are all at Sharphill Wood, and if the claim is successful they will become legally protected rights of way.
You can find out more information about the individual paths being claimed via the online modifications register. Search by parish: West Bridgford, applications 753 to 763 relate to this order.
If there are no objections to the legal order to claim these paths as rights of way by 8th August 2008 then the Council will be able to record them as rights of way. However, if objections are made then the application to claim the paths will have to be sent to the Planning Inspectorate for them to process which may result in a Public Inquiry.
We will update this entry with further details as they unfold.
