Economic data
Here you can find facts and figures about the county, its people and places.
Some of the publications mentioned describe the county as a whole as well as smaller local areas such as districts and wards. Many are regularly updated each time new statistics become available - this can be monthly, bi-monthly, annually or sometimes, as in the case of the Census, every ten years.
Information is available on population, on employment and unemployment, on the local economy and patterns of deprivation, opportunity and social need.
Archive files can be accessed through contact with the identifiable authors.
In addition, links are given to external sources of information, whether within the county, region or nationally.
