Do you need to find premises for your business? The council works in partnership with an organisation called Alliance North Midlands to attract and retain businesses in North Nottinghamshire.
Among the services offered is free assistance to businesses to find suitable sites and premises, whether they are businesses already based here looking to move within the area, or businesses from outside the area looking to move to North Nottinghamshire.
The Alliance North Midlands website has a free property search, which allows you to quickly and easily find sites and premises in the area. It includes a wide range of land and property options available suitable for start-up, expanding and relocating businesses in the following areas:
- Ashfield District Council
- Bassetlaw District Council
- Mansfield District Council
- Newark and Sherwood District Council.

How to use the property search facility
This search facility can help you locate suitable properties or sites within the North Nottinghamshire area. The site offers the ability to search by:
- property type
- size
- tenure
- location.
It returns a list of properties matching your requirements.
Once you have registered you will be able to view the full details of all the properties - including cost, full description, property agent contacts and photographs (if available).
You can save any searches or properties in which you are interested to a 'basket' and then enquire direct to the Investment Team at Alliance North Midlands about a saved search and any of your saved properties. A member of the team will contact you upon receipt of your enquiry.

Council property auctions
The Council also occasionally disposes of its properties at auction and by tender, when a property is no longer required, because, for example, two schools are merging. The money from the sale of these properties is reinvested back into Council services. You can find out if we are auctioning any properties on our auction pages.
