The 'beta' label means you’re looking at the first (or test) versions of a new service or web page.
A beta web page, service or site is still in a testing phase and is a developing prototype going through testing and rapid iterations.
Beta services and pages are designed to be easier to use than the services they replace. You shouldn’t experience any difficulty using them. During the beta phase we gather feedback and data to make further improvements. Sometimes a beta service will be available at the same time as an older, existing service - you can choose which one to use. Successful beta services eventually become 'live' and replace any older services that perform the same task.
