Robin Hood Festival

Monday 1 - Sunday 7 August 2016 11am to 5pm Sherwood Forest Country Park

Join us for this truly unique event celebrating one of the world's most famous outlaws. Set in the enchanting surroundings of Sherwood Forest this week long festival has something for all the family to enjoy.

Full of medieval fun the festival is alive with colourful characters, from juggling jesters to bands of wandering minstrels and, of course, outlaws! You can enjoy a performance in the outdoor theatre, test your skills with the longbow or watch costumed experts demonstrate traditional medieval crafts.

Plus see the 'The Legends' battle it out in the Jousting Arena and The Ye Old Redtail Falconry display team on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival, both spectacular family shows.

The Festival is one of the world's biggested celebrations of Robin Hood, and one of Nottingham's top ten things to do!!

Details of event timings and activities will be released nearer to the festival, once the programme has been confirmed and finalised.

Please Note: The event is FREE, but there is a small charge for some activities including the Open Air Theatre. Please note there is also a £5 car parking charge during the festival.
