Beginner's Weaving Workshop

Weaving is a satisfying versatile hobby, create table mats, wall hangings, purses and handbags from materials like ribbons, plastic, string, boucle or roving's (unspun wool). This one day workshop led by retired teacher Veronica Skuriat will take you through material choice, demonstrate a variety of looms and guide you step by step to create your first woven item. The workshop is a sociable introduction to weaving and includes a homemade two course lunch served with local wine. All necessary materials for the day will be provided, so just bring yourself!
