Wild Flowers of the Peak District

Join Patrick Harding for an illustrated talk about the Peak District and its wild flowers, including tips on identifying plant families and selecting the best identification books. Most of the day will be in the field, concentrating on the White Peak where you will identify a range of flowers and Patrick will discuss their medicinal uses and folk-lore. Led by Dr Patrick Harding: Patrick has lived in the area and taught adults for nearly 40 years. He is author of the highly regarded “Wild Flowers of the Peak District” and has appeared on numerous shows including BBC Breakfast and Radio 4's “Up Country”.
