Join us for a fascinating evening led by members of the Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society as they reveal some of the secrets of the solar system.
To begin we will go on a journey from the sun to the edge of the solar system. We will look at the size, composition and weather on some planets and moons and try and answer questions such as 'why do we call it the solar system?' and 'what are Saturn's rings made of?'.
The second part of the evening will provide the answers to these questions.
Weather dependent we will take a walk to a viewing area and look at the night sky through a telescope, after the first talk.
