Join us for an inspiring day of authors talks, workshops and discussions. 

This year’s line-up includes:

  • International bestselling crime writer and acclaimed poet Sophie Hannah, whose second Hercule Poirot novel Closed Casket has recently been published.
  • Dr Jane Hawking, author of the Travelling to Infinity which became the Oscar-winning film, The Theory of Everything. Her new novel Silent Music was published in September.
  • Novelist Joanna Cannon whose debut novel The Trouble with Goats and Sheep became a Sunday Times bestseller within a fortnight of publication.

Plus, there are range of sessions to choose from including sessions on Charlotte Bronte, crime fiction,  forgotten Nottinghamshire authors and a talk by acclaimed novelist Alison Moore.

Readers’ day is a joint venture organised by Nottingham City Libraries and Inspire.
