Easter holidays

This page will contain details of the availability of County Council services during Easter bank holidays, as well as the school holiday dates and events and activities taking place in Nottinghamshire.

Easter opening hours

Archives

Nottinghamshire Archives will be closed on the following days over Easter:

  • Good Friday 18 April: Closed
  • Saturday 19 April: Closed
  • Easter Sunday: Closed as usual
  • Easter Monday: Closed as usual

Bin collections

Bin collection is organised by your district or borough council. They will be able to provide information about rescheduled services.

Council offices

Council offices will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Country parks

Country parks will be open as usual.

Customer Service Centre

  • Good Friday: Closed
  • Saturday 19 April: Open as usual
  • Easter Sunday: Closed as usual
  • Easter Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday 22 April: Open as usual

Libraries in Nottinghamshire will be closed on the following days:

  • Saturday 19 April: Open as normal
  • Easter Sunday: Closed
  • Easter Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday 22 April: Open as normal

Newark Library remains closed for improvement works.

Recycling centres

Recycling centres will be open as usual.

Registration offices

Registration offices will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
