About the Work Readiness Programme

The programme consists of focused activities, suitable from Year 8 through to Year 11.

The programme has been designed to:

• develop students' understanding of their career ambitions and aspirations
• provide students with opportunities to explore the best routes to take to fulfil their ambitions
• prepare students for work, including applications and interview technique
• provide students with a range of work-related experiences, including how to write a CV
• develop students' confidence and abilities to use their experiences when applying for work
