With the school holidays coming up discover fantastic value for money events and exciting places to visit. There are plenty of activities to keep your family inspired over the school summer holidays. Take a look at our favourites:

Cycle Routes

Nottinghamshire has more than 650 miles of countryside and urban cycle routes and some fantastic cycling-specific facilities. 

National Water Sports Centre Adventure Holiday Club

The Adventure Holiday Club is running at the National Watersports Centre throughout August, with a full days worth of activities available for 8-14 year olds between 08:30am and 5.30pm. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, mini golf, sky trail, laser tag and climbing wall.

Youth Events

There is plenty to keep teenagers entertained in the county this summer. The activities are taking place in each district and offer something for everyone.

Summer Reading Challenge

Join the Animal Agents in this years Summer Reading Challenge, which takes place during the school holidays at a library near you. The challenge, aimed at 4 to 11 year-olds, is to read six or more library books over the summer.
