ITC Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (PFA)

The ITC Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid is a 2 Day course recommended for anyone working in the early years Foundation Stage Education (EYFS).

It covers the relevant content set out by the government’s statutory framework.  We design our course to be fun, practical and informative.   

Course overview

This two-day course covers a range of first aid skills involving babies and children, including CPR.

The qualification is Ofqual accredited and meets HSE requirements.

The PFA course requires 12 hours of teaching time and can be delivered over two days.

The course comprises practical and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and first aid.

The award is valid for three years from the date of assessment.

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of taking the assessment. No prior first aid knowledge is required.
