Outdoor First Aid Incident Management

This two day course is recommended for leaders of outdoor activities and leaders operating in terrain remote from immediate help.

Course overview

Gain a practical knowledge of how to deal with first aid situations, particularly those involving outdoor locations.

It fulfils the requirements of most National Governing Body Awards.

The course requires 16 hours of teaching time over two days.

The course comprises practical and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and first aid.

The award is valid for three years from the date of assessment.

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of taking the assessment. No prior first aid knowledge is required.
