Schools forum vacancies
There are a number of vacancies on the Nottinghamshire Schools Forum for a Maintained Primary, Academy, and Special Academy Representative. Nominations are sought to fill these vacancies as soon as possible. Self-nomination is allowed.
The commitment necessary from the successful candidate is likely to involve 5 meetings per year, usually at the National Watersports Centre together with whatever ‘constituency’ work the candidate thinks will be necessary to ensure that he/she adequately represents the interests of the schools represented. Meetings of the Forum take place during normal working hours and generally last 2 hours.
To be eligible for election, the nominated person(s) must, at the date of the election, be headteacher of a maintained primary, academy, or special academy school.

The election process will be managed by the Education Trust Governor Board. The chair of this Board is currently the Rev Chris Levy who, will ensure that the process is undertaken as outlined in the Schools Forum constitution.
A formal ballot will be held in the event of more than one nomination being received for the role within each sector.
Nominees will be published on the Nottinghamshire Schools Forum website, along with ballot paper for return.

Nominations can be made by downloading and completing the nomination form [Word].
Completed forms can be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, who will ensure that all nominations are forwarded to the Chair of the Education Trust Board.
The closing date for nominations is 5pm Wednesday 25 July 2018.
