Clumber Park is going cycling crazy this summer

Take a look at some of the fabulous two-wheeled activities for families that are on offer at the park over the summer holidays.

Clumber Park has a regular daily cycle offer with trails and cycle hire.

NEW this summer are Learn to Ride Fridays designed to help younger children get their stabilizers off or move from balance bikes to pedal bikes. This is free as part of the Clumber Park Summer of Sport and is led by qualified and experienced members of staff.

British Cycling Let’s Ride pop up event is on Tuesday  21 August. Join the British Cycling team on the park between 11am and 3pm. There will be a closed road marshalled circuit for participants to do as many laps as they want on, along with cycling games and activities.

Families are invited to join in with the OVO Energy Tour of Britain celebrations on the park on Saturday 8 September when the tour comes through. There will be a marked family friendly route for visitors to either cycle themselves or they can join in a led ride. Over lunchtime there will be cycling games and activities and lots of cycle silliness with a slow bicycle race and some penny farthings. Then mid-afternoon everyone will be invited to head over to Lime Tree Avenue or Clumber Lane to watch the tour pass through. Normal admission charges will apply but all of the extra activities once in the park are free.
