Schools & Community

On Saturday 8 September the UK's biggest free-to-attend cycle race returns to Nottinghamshire for stage 7 of the OVO energy Tour of Britain. The race will start in Rushcliffe and follow a 223km route through Nottinghamshire to finish in Mansfield.

Last year crowds of over 210,000 lined the streets as our county hosted an entire stage of the tour for the first time making it the largest sporting event in the county’s history. Our county was recognised by the Tour’s event organisers for outstanding community engagement last year but this year we want to go bigger and better and would like as many schools as possible to get involved.
