Social Care Emergencies

Examples of emergencies include:

• you suspect a child is being abused
• you suspect a vulnerable adult is being abused
• you come across someone who seems to be having a mental health crisis
• your home care worker has not arrived and you need help to get into bed.

If a person is in immediate danger of harm call 999.

Highways Emergencies

Examples of emergencies include:

• streetlight with exposed wires
• tree fallen in the road.

• Special marriage licences (death-bed marriages) where health has suddenly deteriorated
