Supporting the inclusion of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND )
SEND training is provided particularly for Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) in the Private, Voluntary and Independent sector.
If surplus places are available any Early Years practitioners from within the sector may attend.
SENCOs from schools may attend any of these courses but should be aware that the training is not specifically focussed on the needs of practitioners in schools.
SENCO training for the maintained sector is provided and advertised by the Children, Families and Cultural Services separately.
