There is a wide range of support available for older people from individuals and local organisations. For example:

  • If you know what information, advice or support you are looking for, you may be able to find the help you need from our Nottinghamshire Help Yourself website. 

  • Community Outreach Advisors visit people at home to look at what support they need to help them stay independent

  • First Contact puts you in touch with lots of different organisations by filling in one simple checklist.
  • FirstStop Advice is a free and impartial service to help you get the support or care to live as independently and comfortably as possible.
