From 27th April, all claimants in receipt of income-based Jobseeker's Allowance will require an 'Annual Verification' to confirm their details. The Annual Verification letter will be sent to claimants automatically, after they have been in receipt of income-based Jobseeker's Allowance for more that 12 months. The claimant will have 28 days to respond to the letter updating or confirming their details to the DWP. If the letter is not returned, a reminder letter will be sent allowing a further 14 days for response before the claim is considered for suspension.
