Continued roll out of Universal Credit in Gedling and Ashfield

User AvatarPosted by Charlotte Robertson at 22/06/2015 09:51:52
From today, those living within certain postcodes of Gedling and Ashfield who are single, have no mortgage, no children, who do not receive a disability benefit (i.e. Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment) who are looking for work and are looking to claim a benefit are now expected to claim Universal Credit.  Universal Credit is a single payment that is replacing certain benefits, including Housing Benefit, for people aged 18 to 60 + 6months and who meet the above criteria.
