Governance
Nottinghamshire’s Supporting People Programme is part of the Joint Commissioning Unit in the Adult Social Care, Health and Public Protection Department of the County Council.
For providers to get involved they can attend quarterly Provider Forums where issues directly relating to Supporting People services can be discussed.
Two representatives from this forum attend the quarterly Early Intervention and Prevention Strategy group. The role of this group is to discuss and influence issues relating to Early Intervention and Prevention work and to feed into both the Older Adults and Younger Adults Integrated Strategic Commissioning Groups.
These groups then feed into the Health and Wellbeing Board.
