Stakeholder network events

The Nottinghamshire Health and Wellbeing Board gives a wide range of people the opportunity to have their say about how health and wellbeing services are planned and developed.

To help this we've set up a stakeholder network to make sure user groups, local services and businesses can get involved.

Each event focuses on a particular topic such as housing or children's services. There are usually presentations followed by discussions about local issues.

You can register your interest or become a member of the network by completing our online form.

Topic: Social Prescribing [Word] – 'from fishing to knitting groups'

Social prescribing is a way of linking people to social or physical activities in their local community to help prevent ill health & improve their physical and mental health. It could involve linking people to dance groups, allotment societies, voluntary organisations – the options are endless!

This workshop will help you understand what social prescribing is, what’s already available in Nottinghamshire and to explore the opportunities to extend it across the county.
