Early Years education and childcare training

Information for professionals

Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfill their potential.

Our aim is to continue to support you to make a difference for children, young people and their families, improve outcomes for children and develop diverse, high quality childcare provision with relevant and appropriate training.

The training outlined on these pages is open to childcare settings in the county of Nottinghamshire. Other practitioners working outside the county who wish to attend courses will incur a charge of £50 (unless other fees are stated).

Training and development opportunities (TADO)

Due to an increase in the running and administration costs relating to training events, non-attendance and late cancellation fees increased to £50 from 1 October 2014.

We ask that applicants hold dates in their diary at the point of application. To book on an event click on the Eventbrite link within the event description. Confirmation of your booking will be sent immediately to your email address.

Cancellations are undertaken through your Eventbrite account. To avoid a £50 late cancellation fee, cancellations must be made over 5 working days prior to the start of the event.

Please read the application process guidelines before submitting your application.

Should you have any other training needs that the current training programme does not cover, please let us know by emailing ey&cc.training@nottscc.gov.uk.

Please note that conference style courses do have a charge of £50 per delegate. This charge is outlined in the details of the individual event to which it applies. Some courses are payable using a debit/credit card at the time of booking. Fees will be non-refundable in the event of non-attendance or late cancellation.
