There are over 2,500km of pathways and rights of way to enjoy in Nottinghamshire.

RouteXchange is an online forum where you can download and review other people's favourite walks and submit your favourite walks for others to try.

The County Council's Exploring Nottinghamshire walking packs can help you make the most of your day out in Nottinghamshire. Each pack includes a map, directions and notes about local history and things to see all inside a handy waterproof plastic folder. Seven packs are available including walks in Sherwood Forest, the Greenwood Forest and the countryside around Newark.
