Trees

If a tree is overhanging the pavement and causing an obstruction, we can take legal action to force the owner to trim it.

If a tree has fallen down and blocked the road the County Council can remove it. Our out of hours emergency service is available on tel: 0845 603 0548 between 17.00 - 08.30 Monday – Thursday and from 16.30 on Fridays and the weekend.

If the tree is growing in the verge or by the side of the road and is making it difficult for road users to see round it or drive by safely, we will arrange for it to be trimmed.
