School crossing patrols

Nottinghamshire’s school crossing patrols are a dedicated team of people who help children and adults cross the road safely on their way to school.

The County Council is always very interested to hear from anyone who would like to be a school crossing patrol.

Vacancies are available at permanent crossing points for approximately 5 hours a week. Relief patrol vacancies are also available to provide temporary cover when school crossing patrols are unable to attend work due to illness etc.
