Nottinghamshire County Council - Proud of our past, ambitious for our future

School catchment areas

Every school in Nottinghamshire has a catchment area - a geographical boundary around the school that includes a number of specified streets and towns.

Catchment areas help headteachers, governors and the County Council work out how many children will attend each school.

Your local school will depend on which school’s catchment area covers your home address. You can check your school catchment area online

For specific advice on catchment areas please contact your local office.
