Nottinghamshire County Council - Proud of our past, ambitious for our future

Rufford Country Park

Home to the remains of a mediaeval abbey and manor house, Rufford’s delights include a large wood and 150 acres of parkland, a children's play area, formal gardens, an arboretum and sculpture garden.

If you’re looking for some retail therapy the Craft Centre includes a range of high quality goods and sculptures. Or dine in style in the Orangery, located in the former manor house kitchen or enjoy a drink at the Victorian inspired Savile restaurant.

Make the most of your day out with our programme of events including evening ghost walks through the grounds of Nottinghamshire’s most haunted house.

If you’d like to find out more about what goes on behind the scenes at Rufford why not volunteer or join the Friends of Rufford.
