Roadworks

The County Council is responsible for co-ordinating roadworks around the county to make sure that any delays are kept to a minimum.

Sometimes an emergency road repair will be needed, for example to fix a broken gas pipe, and delays will be unavoidable.

To help you plan your journey, you can look online to find out where roadworks are being carried out. You can also listen to the traffic and travel bulletins on local radio stations.
