Refugees and asylum seekers

The County Council provides a range of services to asylum seekers who have been moved to Nottinghamshire by the National Asylum Support Service.

These include:

  • benefits advice
  • assistance with housing
  • registration with local doctors

We provide these services until a decision is made about the asylum seeker’s application by the Government.
