Feedback from our community strategy consultations have shown you want a County Council that:

- Delivers excellent but affordable services
- Is a civic leader, helping to develop strong communities across the County
- These three targets are at the heart of our strategic plan – the five year vision for a better Nottinghamshire.
To make sure we are delivering improvements in the way we do things, we publish a range of performance indicators which show our progess against a range of targets.
Our success in delivering the improvements local people want to see is used by the Audit Commission – the local government watchdog - to assess how successful we are.
