Performance measurement

We’ve listened to what you have to say about our services to help us focus on what we need to do to improve them.

Feedback from our community strategy consultations have shown you want a County Council that:

  • Puts the customer first
  • Delivers excellent but affordable services
  • Is a civic leader, helping to develop strong communities across the County
  • These three targets are at the heart of our strategic plan – the five year vision for a better Nottinghamshire.

To make sure we are delivering improvements in the way we do things, we publish a range of performance indicators which show our progess against a range of targets.

Our success in delivering the improvements local people want to see is used by the Audit Commission – the local government watchdog - to assess how successful we are.
