Local Transport Plans

The Local Transport Plans are the blueprint for sustainable travel and transport in Nottinghamshire. Developed jointly by the County and City Council, the plans set out the vision to improve transport for everyone.

Two transport plans are produced for Nottinghamshire:

  • The North Nottinghamshire Local Transport Plan covers Ashfield (except Hucknall), Bassetlaw, Mansfield and Newark & Sherwood districts.
  • The Greater Nottingham Local Transport Plan is prepared jointly with Nottingham City Council and covers Broxtowe, Rushcliffe, and Gedling districts as well as Hucknall and the city area.
