Nottinghamshire Archives houses historical archives for the County of Nottinghamshire, the City of Nottingham, the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham plus other local organisations, families and individuals.

Archives are original documents produced by official bodies, societies and individuals that are no longer in current use.

They can be used to find out more about the history of your community or for school or academic projects.
