Hedges and scrub land

Hedges and grass verges are havens for wildlife and improve the look and feel of our natural environment.

Most roadside hedges and trees are not owned by the County Council but by the adjacent landowners.

If you think a hedge is overhanging, causing an obstruction for passers-by, talk to the landowner or contact us.
