Gully emptying

Road drains can get blocked by leaves, plastic bags and tree roots causing deep puddles after a rainstorm. Gully emptying involves clearing out the drains to remove any debris.

All gullies are emptied at least once a year by the County Council to make sure the water drains away quickly.
