Green waste collections

Don’t just throw your hedge clippings, grass, leaves and other green waste away. Why not recycle it? Green waste is good for your garden and good for the environment.

You can:

  • use your kerbside recycling scheme, depending on where you live, to recycle your hedge clippings, potato peelings etc
  • recycle your green waste at one of the County Council’s 18 recycling centres.

Your local district council will have more information about kerbside recycling.
