Fares, passes and permits – public transport

The County Council supports a wide range of services to help people make the most of public transport services in Nottinghamshire.

We provide information about community and accessible transport options for people who have difficulty using buses and trains.

People living in Nottinghamshire who are over 60 can enjoy free travel on buses and trains using their concessionary bus pass. The scheme is also open to people with mobility difficulties.

And our school travel scheme helps more than 30,000 children and students get to school more easily with subsidised fares.
