Ethnicity, Culture and Achievement Service

We help provide appropriate educational services for Black and Minority Ethnic pupils, including Traveller children.

ECAS is a county-wide service which provides information and advice; guidance and support; training and resources; and in some specialist cases, direct intervention. The service is made up of:

  • The New Arrivals Team (NAT)
  • The Race Equality and Achievement Team (REAT)
  • The Traveller Education Service (TES)
