Economic development

Economic development is about creating the right environment in Nottinghamshire to encourage businesses to locate and grow here, and employ local people. Growth in private sector businesses and jobs is our top priority, and we are investing in infrastructure and projects which will make Nottinghamshire’s economy more competitive and resilient.

To do this we:

work with partners to promote economic growth
lead on major regeneration projects across the county
work with partners to develop a network of business innovation centres throughout the county
secure public and private sector investment in infrastructure which will unlock economic growth.
