Dumped rubbish

It is illegal to dump your rubbish. You can be prosecuted and face a fine of up to £20,000.

You can dispose of your household rubbish at any of the County Council’s 14 recycling centres. The centres accept a wide range of typical household items.

Concrete, old bricks and asbestos can only be accepted in limited quantities. Please contact your local recycling centre before your journey.

If you think someone is illegally dumping large quantities of rubbish, you can report them to the Environment Agency 24 hr hotline, tel: 0800 807060
